One of Mrs.Geiling's Culinary Arts classes was working on creating a pasta dish using fresh tomato juice that Mrs. Geiling was making in class. They even used some that was just juice and some that had more "meat" to the juice. Great job. It smelled delicious!

Last week, a group of seniors from PCHS had the opportunity the visit the Carpenters and Millwrights Union. They had the chance to learn more of about the Union and options that would be there for them after school if they are interested in joining. These students have all been taking construction trades classes with Mr. Howald.

Last week, Mr. Ziegler's students Chemistry II class worked on creating gas generators . To culminate the lesson, they used the different gases and launched micro rockets to see which was the most explosive. Students experimented and competed to see whose launched the furthest.

25 Seniors from the National Honor Society at PCHS participated in the National Day of Caring. They volunteered their time at Somebody's Place, PAWS, Petersburg Little League, and Pride's Creek. Great to see our students giving back to the community. #ChargerPride #WeAreChargers

Spanish III students created their own unique figure and then used their vocabulary to give descriptions of their creations. Spanish IV then left messages and jokes based on their vocabulary. Finally the Spanish I and II students voted on their favorite creations. What an activity!

On Monday, the Spanish classes celebrated Mexican Independence Day. They learned how to dance the salsa, played some games and then had fried ice cream. They learned how fried ice cream is traditionally made and then had an unfried version. So much fun!
