Mrs. Waddell, Mrs. Carter, Mrs. Cherry, and Mrs. Smith are enjoying their time at the Elevating Education Conference in Indianapolis. The teachers are learning new instructional strategies to better co-teach and practice inclusion.

Congratulations to our 6th grader, Elle Wiscaver, for winning this years Patriot's Pen Essay contest, sponsored by our local V.F.W. The 2023 theme was "How Are You Inspired by America?" Thank you to these Veterans that presented Elle with her certificate and prize money. We appreciate your service to our country. Elle's cousin, and PCMS alumni, Xavery Weisman was the high school winner. Both essays will be printed in next week's newspaper. Congratulations!🇺🇸



Mrs. Weisman's science classes worked as teams to create a life size/to scale solar system using toiletpaper squares as units of measurement for the distances of planets in our solar system from the sun. 🌞🌎










Mrs Meyer's 7th grade Enrichment classes participated in the Dia de Los Muertos Calaveras (skull) decorating contest with the high school Spanish classes. They learned about how the Mexican culture remembers loved ones who have passed away and decorated their very own skulls.
The Spanish club members voted and here are the middle school winners.

The 7th grade science classes had their annual pumpkin chunkin' contest today. Ms. Baker reports that everyone did a wonderful job and had FUN!
