Mrs. Jennifer Smith's 7th grade class recently did a STEM bridge project after reading an article on Garrett Morgan, inventor of the safety hood for fire fighters. After researching some some other inventors, including the inventor of the paper clip, they created bridges out of paper clips and Play-Doh. Students tested them out using pink erasers. Brittney Kirby and Peyton Pride were the winners with their bridge holding 14.
